Jamaica Roof - Round 2!

On January 28, another 14-person crew left for Top Hill. This time, the goal was to not only finish up some of the punch list items left from before, but to further enhance the church so that the congregation and community could use it as fully as possible.

So why did we go again?

If you read through the last posts regarding the first trip, you heard us rejoice at how much God allowed us to do and how we were leaving it in his hands and those capable within the community (and possibly other teams from other churches) to finish the work we'd begun. However, due to logistical issues both in Top Hill and here in the States, a majority of the members from the original team felt called to go back as quickly as possible to do what could be done before the work we did November was undone by the fickle Jamaican weather.

God provided by not only allowing the schedules to work out for 10 of the original 14, but also in providing 4 more new members from CBFC to round out the group.

The crew is in Jamaica now and will return on February 4th. Please keep them in your prayers as they do what they have been called once again to do.
